Description: Yukari somehow managed to graduate from a prestigious Japanese high school. After college, she returned there to teach English alnog with her childhood friend/rival Minamo Kurosawa. For three years she shepherded (if you can call it that) a group of seven remarkable girls through that school. Azumanga Daioh is the story of those girls, and the influence she had—for good or ill—upon them.
