Background:
Born to a prostitute in the old city district of Lenele, the capital of Medeva, a young Fleece was quickly orphaned when her mother was knifed to death. She was taken in by Tancred, well-known as Lenele's "King of fleas" and head of the underworld. He raised her as his own daughter, teaching her the tricks of the trade. With Tancred now old and infirm, Fleece manages parts of his "business."

She happened across Joseph one day as he sought entry to the palace, seeking Yago. She sowed him a way in through the sewers, in return for his help dealing with the monsters that lurk down there. Fleece then left Joseph in the basement and stole her way through the palace to find Yago and go about her own affairs there (involving a very expensive amulet). Upon finding Yago, she told him of Joseph. Yago in return hired Fleece to help Joseph locate the three remaining rings of summoning. Fleece agreed, and set out with Joseph on his quest.

Personality/Motivation:
Fleece is a thief, but not necessarily a bad person. Her upbringing has taught her to be greedy and somewhat selfish, yet she often finds she has problems deceiving and lying to people. She tries to be honest with those who trust and rely on her, especially Tancred and Joseph.

Tactics/Powers:
Fleece is trained with both bows and swords, and is an expert at hitting vital spots. She will usually try to sneak up on opponents and quietly dispatch them. Failing that, she will aim for the arms or legs to impair their combat capabilities.

Fleece's main ability is in her broad skills. She is fast, stealthy, and prides herself on being able to get into any place at all. She also knows much about rare items, and is good at appraising them, often for sale.

Appearance:
Fleece is an attractive young woman with shoulder-length black hair. She has the distinctive slanted eyes of an Orenian, giving her an exotic appeal in Medeva. She wears a simple cloth shirt and leggings to avoid standing out, but often sports a hooded cloak when going about her "business." She carries a curved dagger with her, in case things get nasty.
