Background/History: Dirorah the Hunting Person hails from the village of Andnei, located on the forested layer of the Well, above the steaming jungles. She left home in search of action and adventure, but found precious little of either, and ended up working on a Plains-level tavern to make ends meet. It was there was she found by the Lady Teodora, who took one look at her table-dancing act and deiced anyone that naturally skilled could do better than the scattered coins thrown her way by mostly drunken patrons. So, purchasing Diroah’s worth from the tavern owner (in which Teodora cheated the tavern owner unmercifully), the Lady Teodora added Dirorah to her acting troupe, teaching her the finer arts of acting and dancing, while Lepolo taught her puppetry.

Personality/Motivation: As with many of the Hunting People, Dirorah is quite curious about anything new. This is why she left home and one of the major reasons she likes traveling with Teodora’s show. Any time the troupe arrives in a new town, she’s usually the first to speak with passers by, advertising the upcoming show while at the same time finding out the local political and legal scene. Her enthusiasm tends to be infectious, often leading to her giving impromptu shows to passers-by and young children. Lady Teodora has given up on trying to discourage this, as she finds it only helps in the long run.

Quote: “Oh! Won’t this be fun!”

Powers/Tactics: As with all Hunting People, Dirorah is naturally quite agile, and blessed with sharp ears, sharp claws, and an excellent sense of balance. She’s also an excellent dancer, skilled with playing the guitar, and adequate actress, and still learning puppets.

Campaign Use: Dirorah is one of Teodora’s Followers. See the Lady Teodora’s sheet for ideas on how to use the whole troupe in a game. If used on her own, she makes for an excellent street performer, possible PC love interest, or street-level contact. Game Masters wishing to make her more powerful could give her such skills as Conversation and Streetwise, and might consider adding on either a full Bard Template, or the Rogue Template (making her a cutpurse along with a street performer.)

Appearance: Dirorah is of the Hunting People, meaning she looks much like a normal human with cat-like secondary characteristics. In her case, this means she has an athletic (but full-breasted) physique, with reddish-brown skin, long white hair, and matching ears and tail. She wears a long-sleeved, jacket that comes to mid-thigh and buttons up to the base of her neck (with a linen shirt under that), close-fitting hose, leather boots to just above the ankle, and a thin belt with knife and pouch.
