Background/History: Captain Kuro was the captain of a pirate crew named, 'The Black Cat" pirates. He was ruthless and cruel from the beginning of his career, but instead of enjoying it, he despised the job. It was because he had so many close calls with death. He wanted to get out of the pirating business. So he gathered a plan together, he attacked a Marine ship completely killing the entire crew except two men. Jango, Captain Kuro's next in command hypnotized one of the Marines into thinking he was Captain Kuro and the other to think he was the man who caught him After some time, the fake Captain Kuro was executed. The real Captain Kuro got away scat free.
The day prior to the invasion, Luffy and his crew landed on his village. They with the help of Usopp (who discovered his plot earlier) defeated Captain Kuro. Luffy spared his life but instead gave him a second chance as a pirate of the Captain of the Black Cat pirates.
Personality/Motivation: Captain Kuro is sick of being a pirate Captain, he wants out of it as soon as possible. He has tasted the comforts of normal life and now wants it continue. He will do anything to achieve this goal, including killing his entire pirate crew and setting elaborate plans that takes years to succeed.
He is a fairly well-known that can be recognized if he would use his Black Cat Claw's. Also, if someone in his past as able to spot his habit -him pulling on his glasses with heel of his hand- they might have an idea who he was. He also pulls up on his glasses because he wears the Cat's Claws and it's a very hard task to pull up your glasses when you have blades on the end of your fingers. Obviously, he has bad eye sight. Maybe even incurring some OCV penalties if he glasses are damaged.
Powers/Tactics: Captain Kuro most fearsome ability is his speed. He is quick without the use of any special technique, able to strike quicker than even Luffy and the Nyaban brothers. Almost all of his abilities are based around this raw natural is talented enough to acquire. The downfall, he is a lightweight. A few good hits and Captain Kuro falls like a brick.
He uses a pair of sharp Cat's Claws to kill quick and efficiently. He is skilled with a few techniques that is self taught. When needed he uses two abilities to even the odds.
Running Foot: A technique that uses his quick to move in the blind spot of someone's sight so that you can't see him. While there is no way to spot or hear the Running Foot Kuro, it is possible if you look hard enough to see a shadow. Death scoop. He only uses this in the most desperate of situations because it is as deadly for his own crew as it is to his enemies. He moves so quickly that he doesn't know who he is striking. Only thing visible is the damage that he does: a cut on your chest, a random person, a rock. The Area effect does not attack everyone in that radius, only a few. Maybe 2 or 3 people and numerous collateral damage. This represent his running around striking anything that might be his intended target.
Appearance: In his disguise, Klahador, Kuro has slicked back black hair. He wears a pair of sunglasses that covers a pair of coal beady eyes. He wears an almost always pressed black suit and tail with a white shirt underneath. On the coat, two yellow symbols that seem to cover no purpose. On his feet he wears a pair of shoelace-less gray and black moccasins.
As the Captain of his ship, he wears the usual Captain's coat with the symbol of the Black Cat pirates on the shoulders. He also uses his two Cat's Claws weapons, two black furry gloves with three feet blades on the end of each finger. When not in combat, each blade is individually sheathed and kept in a black bag.
