Background/History: Created by scientist Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse, the Übersoldat is horrific combination of biological, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Designed as part of the Nazi super-soldier program, the Übersoldat are mainly used to guard various Nazi secret facilities, although they may be soon put in the field to counter Allied solider advances.
Personality/Motivation: The Übersoldat seem to be almost blindly loyal to the Nazi regime and cause. Apparently fearless, they will unhesitatingly attack enemies of the Third Reich and will fight until destroyed.
Quote: None. The Übersoldat have a respirator unit fastened over their mouth, apparently making speech impossible.
Powers/Tactics: Heavily armored, the Übersoldat is nearly immune to small arms fire and is virtually unfazed by such weapons as the flamethrower and Tesla Gun. Strong enough to use the Venom Gun one handed, an attacking Übersoldat will usually fire both Panzerfausts before opening up with the Venom Gun. They will often Half Move and fire the gun in short bursts, closing range until they can unleash the full destructive force of Venom Gun. Some Übersoldat are armed with a Tesla Gun. These will usually be out in front of other troops, so to spare them from the Tesla Gun’s arc of destruction.
Appearance: An Übersoldat stands well over seven feet tall, with a massive, heavily armored frame. The face is exposed, although the armored skullcap and gorget still covers most of it. The armor is greenish, with some exposed flesh, wiring, and on the Übersoldat’s back, a compact generator.
Designer's Notes: Übersoldat are one of the experimental Nazi weapons seen the game Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I based the stats around those of a normal solider (i.e. 14 DEX, 4 SPD, and so on). 6th Edition HERO System allowed me to tinker with OCV and DCV values to better represent the Übersoldat’s combat skills. To make the Übersoldat more dangerous, give them +4 with their weapons. To make them even more lethal, remove the Inaccurate Limitation from the Venom Gun. Game Masters can also alter the INT and EGO values, add in skills, and other Powers defined as implanted cybernetics, robotics, and so on.
