Discovered in an alternate timeline, the Ford Fusion 2000 os a nuclear-powered car. Almost Gernsbackian in concept, the Fusion has a small nuclear reactor mounted between the twin booms in the back of the vehicle. The passenger compartment, sell well forward, is fully sealed, with a series of vents along the roof-line letting in fresh air. As the car can reach speeds in excess of 350 miles-per-hour, the need for this sort of environmental control is obvious. Despite its curious appearance, the Ford Fusion handles rather well, and is said to be a smooth and quiet ride.
