KULTANAINEN

Kultanainen (lit. "Gold Woman") claims to be Ilmarinen's Gold Wife from Finnish myth and legend. Thus, she would seem to be well over 1,000 years old, a claim given credence by her discovery (she was dug up out of a Finnish bog). Examinations have shown that if she isn't solid gold, she's mostly made from it. This makes her both superhumanly strong as well as durable (Not to mention being very heavy. Kultanainen stands only 5'6", yet tips the scales at over 2,100 pounds!) Currently, she is a member of the European Union's super-human squad. Her team mates state that over all she is civil and polite enough, but for the most part lacks empathy for others and rarely displays kindness. Finnish scholars have pointed out that Ilmarinen's Golden Wife was also unable to love.
