Background/History: Kim is a hyper-competent young heroine who isn't old enough to drive but still manages to save the world on a weekly basis. All while juggling Cheerleading practice and the demands of her equally hyper competent family.
Personality/Motivation: Always sure of herself, Kim has a good head on her shoulders and moves through life meeting every situation with confidence and aplomb. She never set out to dedicate her life to heroism, she just sort of fell into it when a millionaire collector trying to e-mail a squad of uber-commandos at impossible.com accidentally sent a plea to her baby-sitting website. (Which boasts "I can do anything") Once the dust settled it became clear that her natural flair for danger made her more than a match for the world's most demented theme supervillians. With the help of her lifelong pal Ron Stoppable and preteen computer prodigy Wade, heroism is just one more extracurricular activity. It's no big.
Quote: "What's the sitch?"
Powers/Tactics: Kim's primary abilities are her acrobatic hand to hand combat skills, (which are are the product of extensive cheerleading practice) and an array of super spy type gadgets provided by Wade. Her most important Gadget is the Kimmunnicator which incorporates everything from lock picks to satellite scramblers and is her main means of getting a hold of Wade.
Appearance: Kim is a red-haired, green-eyed 15 year-old girl from Middleton, USA. She keeps fit with extensive cheerleading practice and weekly battles with everything from monkey ninjas to bebe-bots. Her fashion sense tends toward high school chic and seems to constantly feature a bare midriff.
DesignerŐs Notes: This particular Disney afternoon animated series has been a guilty pleasure of mine from almost the moment it came on. This write-up is the result of a long Thanksgiving weekend spent working on some projects with the Kim Possible marathon running in the background.
I gave her two overall skill levels as Kim seems to be able to perform almost any skill she is vaguely familiar with at expert levels of ability. This is probably appropriate for the rest of her family as well. Her martial arts skills are based on the acrobatic fighting article from Digital Hero. Given how much is made of her Cheerleading skills transferring to combat, that seemed to be the best way to handle it.
